KEADRA KREATES

Keadra Jeter was born and raised in Texas. Throughout her life, Keadra has always been fascinated by images and how the world is represented through the eyes of others. Naturally, she was drawn to photography and drawing by self-exploration. The interest was cultivated during her teenage years and further developed when she opted to take her bachelor's degree in art.

After completing her degree, Keadra delved even more into her art, which involved the loss, change, and regeneration of life. The images Keadra creates are only part of the narrative. She uses the practice of burying her emotions into her subconscious to allow the natural voice of art to evolve. It is a collaboration between the artist and the subconscious. Keadra cherishes this connection with mental health. She feels that the artistic exchange between the mind and the medium opens up many opportunities.

Keadra is currently a teacher, specializing in artistic exploration. She teaches 10 to 14-year-olds in order to help them foster the same enthusiasm that she has for art. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Lamar University to further express her artistic style.

Keadra currently lives and works in Dallas, Texas.
